In 2002 after completing a mission trip to Romania, the Lord spoke to the heart of Harry and Evelyn and gave them a heavy burden for missions. In 2004 the Lord spoke to both of them about eastern Kentucky. In 2005 they answered the call to minister with Meridzo Ministries in the mountains of eastern Kentucky.
For nearly five years, the Johnsons have poured their hearts, their souls, and their substance into serving and ministering as assistant directors to Lonnie and Belinda Riley, co-directors of Meridzo Center Ministries, Inc. Having the honor of serving on staff with Meridzo Ministries has been a blessing beyond words for both of them.

Beginning the year 2010 have found Harry and Evelyn addressing urgent family matters which are requiring their immediate attention and will require their full attention in the near future. Being fair to their calling and to Meridzo Ministriesthe y find it necessary to retire from full time missions and full time staff members of Meridzo Ministries.
They will forever be grateful to Lonnie and Bleinda Riley for their love, friendship, and for teaching them to watch and pray and live by faith.
Harry and Evelyn want to thank who have been a part of their high calling as full time MSC Missionaries.
To summarize their tenure with Meridzo Center Ministries, Inc., they boldly say "The pleasure has been theirs, but all the glory has been God's."
