We continue to be grateful for you participation in the recovery process as we serve here in Letcher County. Thank you for your prayers, support, encouragement, and generous giving of donations and time!
This week we will taste a little bit of cooler temperatures which prompts the updated supply list that is needed for families affected by the flood.
This list is: 🟢would be very helpful if all these items could be new and not used🟢
• Heater *safe heaters* electric and/or propane
• Dehumidifiers
• Laundry Detergent
• Dish detergent
• Dishes
• Coffee pots
• Toaster ovens
• Small counter top appliances
• Silverware
• New Mattresses (Twin, Full, Queen)
• New Box spring (depending on mattress)
• Mattress frames to match the mattresses
We also will continue to need boots on the ground to help. There are still a few gut outs to do but things are beginning to transition into rebuilds. Rebuilds would require skilled labor.
We have housing options if you want to bring a team:
Shekinah Village:
(606) 446-6005
Eolia Christian Community Outreach: (ECCO)
(606) 633-2992
Calvary Campus:
(606) 428-0339
Solomon’s Porch:
606-848-2766
Also, another continued flexible need for meeting needs is monetary gifts to our recovery efforts.
These can be made to Meridzo Center and put “flood relief” in the memo line.
Isaiah 54:10
[10] For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Thank you very much!
Within His Faithful Grip,
The Meridzo Staff
